In the first phase, an inhibitor is added to accelerate the formation of a coating with a high phosphate concentration. The proportion of silicate in the added inhibitor is then increased step by step as the proportion of phosphate is reduced, until finally the proportion of silicate added to the drinking water is increased again and, in the most favorable case, the added phosphate is reduced to zero.
The sustained success of our company is based on the development and preferential use of the non-phosphatic, carbonate-activated silicate formulations, which, incidentally, are also used as food additives.
